Wintersun Festival, '09. The weather was great, the crowds were huge, and the numbers of cars appeared to be up. They had a street parade which allowed the various dance groups to cruise through the main thoroughfare on the backs of flat bed semi-trailers, jiving & grooving to their on-board live rock band.
The spectre of car thieves hit hard again this year, with two cars being stolen during the event - a '28 Tudor and a later model Holden.
Given the windfall that Wintersun provides many of the apartments, it isn't unreasonable to expect security staff to be provided at night - checking the bona-fides of people leaving the car parks in the early hours of the morning. Lets hope that the apartment managers can help clean up the reputation that Wintersun is gaining amongst fearful car owners.

Maybe this was a special parking spot for blown Chevy powered cars? The Camaro runs a BBC, while the '28 Ford Tudor now runs an SBC. It once had a Ford engine.
