Wintersun, '08. The cruising component of the event was reasonably well managed, though it again turned into a parking lot on Saturday night. The route took the cars up the steep hill behind the Greenmount Surf Life Savers Club, a fact that had organisers a little concerned about burnt out clutches, and excessive wheel spin.  The bigger cars, and Wintersun seems to be a Cadillac magnet, had some trouble doing the 5 point turns that were necessary at the far end of the route, and that fact impacted on the run considerably.
Overseas attendants appeared to love the weather, which was Ok most of the time, but the rain poured down on the Sunday afternoon.

Its a Rod & Kustom event, so we'll finish with a hacked up Hudson, a car that is smooth in more ways than one.
