Wintersun, '07. The weather was almost terrible for the last weekend of the gala event, in that the Friday and Saturday were unseasonably cold - for Coolangatta. Southern visitors would have felt right at home, but at least the rain stayed away, in the main. Registration numbers were up, and despite the weather, I am sure the pedestrian numbers would have been up also.
Various new elements and venues were added to the list of events that kept a large number of visitors busy for the week. New accommodation towers will be available next year, which will help with prices & availability of somewhere to hang your hat.
