Jenny Buggy slips past, in a nice '35 coupe from Timic Hot Rod Supplies in
Penrith.

A very small part of the 300+ hot rod procession
winds its way past the Valla pub, after the street display in town.

John Philpot's chopped '30 coupe was put together
in just 10 months, and the $65k asking price should see it sold
fairly quickly.

Allan Scott's '38 Chevy coupe is often published
in the hot rod books, and if you click on the picture, you'll see
why.

Rob Osberg '28 hiboy roadster pickup is a neat
little jigger - we love the colour coded bars in the deuce grille
shell.

The 'other' red '36 roadster at Valla was from
Victoria, which proves that Victorians also have great taste.

Another T coupe kept Mick Noble's company during
the run & street parade. Don't they look great?

Steve Philpot, from the Tweed Area Street Rods
club, has had this '32 Tudor for more years than he cares to
remember.

Mick Tozer, also of Timic Hot Rod Supplies in Penrith,
spreads the word via the signs on the deuce pickup hiboy.

Graham Martin's hiboy coupe rumble seat has the rarest of
all of the '34 Ford accessories - Ian Cameron.

Fred Eyley's '36 roadster looks spot on - the
wide whites and steel wheels give it that sought after old timey
look.

Chad Lackey's '34 Tudor always looks great - is
that a new pinstripe running the length of the car?

An Aussie bodied '34 Ford Fordor is amongst the
line of wenders- that is, those wending their way past the pub, and
back to the park.

Chris Hickman's Willys coupe hunkers down. The blown SBC
powered car is from Manning Valley
Cruisers, Taree.

The bobbed rear guards are not often seen, but
they were popular in the day, and they keep more grit & stuff off
the car than cycle guards.

Yellow cars are notoriously difficult to
photograph, but we had to make a special effort to get this '34
Tudor.

Steve McKay, a member of the host club, the Dragens,
is always at Valla in this '30 coupe.

Pat Laub had some nibbles on his fuel injected
SBC powered '41 Willys coupe, but it hasn't been sold yet.

When he wasn't cruising, he was driving - this
T-bucket hardly had a chance to cool down all week.

Mark Huishe lives in Valla, so he must love it
when all these rods & rodders come to his stomping ground.

Once a glittering gold painted and chrome plated
show car, the former Bill Smith is happily back on the street.

Mick Noble and his T coupe are from Port Macquarie,
where Mick is a member of Taree Street Rodders.

Gary Hudson's heavily hammered '35 Tudor gets to
plenty of runs. The lowered lid would allow it to slip smoothly
through the air.

From the unbelievably radical department, this
Austin turned more heads than most.
