Valla, '07, page 2. Alas, bad weather washed those chances away, and the park was smothered in a smaller, well watered, dust cloud, almost certainly for the last time.
The number of new cars, those in the Rookie Corral, appeared to be up, and the quality of new cars, in the main, continues to climb. The same reliable itinerary was used, with trips away from the park in the days leading up to the street display in nearby Nambucca Heads, and various corrals for Tudors, coupes, roadsters etc, on different days.
If you haven't been a part of this run, then you should get there next year.

The Aussie bodied '34 5-window number plate was probably ordered with the car in mind, but the driver & passenger give a whole new meaning.

More Victorians make the trip every year, but this '37 has been a regular for many years.

The sombreros were big this year - in more ways than one. The Skin Cancer Foundation would approve this trend.

Castlemaine's Larry & Mary O'Toole have done more miles in their big block powered '28 Tudor, just driving to Valla, than some rods rack up in a lifetime.

The exuberant Carl Gunther and his '32 roadster, travelling sans hood, and loving every minute of it.

Paul Jones's '34 bus drew a crowd wherever it went, and it was no surprise when Paul & Moya's new drive car won a Top Ten prize.

Pat Laub cruised in Paul Jones' bus most of the time, but had a great time in his '32 hiboy also.

Sometimes a post '48 car turns up at Valla and turns lots of heads. Such was the case with this non-entrant, heavily chopped 'spinner' 2 door sedan.
