Valla,
'07.
Given that many of the participants spend at least a week holidaying
at Valla, it is obvious that there is a strong holiday atmosphere
amongst the entrants, The Drag-ens club members don't get the same
opportunity to relax as do others, because they are busy doing a
great job of organising and managing, while keeping things in
perspective, and enjoying the run.
For those of us who were unable to spend a week or more there, there
were wild mobile phone messages from Valla, with rumors about the
presence of road surfacing machinery at the park, which conjured up
visions of a dust-free cruising track. Could it be, after all these
years?

Four little hot rods, all in a row

Garry Ward brought this '37 roadster to the party
last year, and dressed it in a new coat of bodywork and paint for

Rick Pacey's '27 roadster always looks attractive, but the pretty ladies add to its appeal.

A red hot, blown SBF is great on the highway, but

It looks like a 36 B cup.

Another fabulous rookie, the Phil Reeks

This car ran hard all day at the Nats in Goulburn,
but took things easy at laid back Valla.

Superchargers were everywhere, squeezing
more horsepower out of all manner of high performance motors.

eyes.

The shop in the background is either painted in
colours sympathetic to the Tudor, or it is white, and the green hue
is a reflection off the A.

Matt McDonald's
hiboy Model A closed cab pickup shows its wares.

An original '32 roadster, powered by a side-valve
