Canada College, '07. Located in Redwood City, about 45 minutes south of San Francisco, and not far from hyper-expensive Palo Alto, this event is called the Friendship Day Car Show, and is popular with auto hobbyists of all forms - street rods being just a part of the attractions. There are no judges, no awards, no vendors and no pre-registration. In fact, the entry fee gets the entrant a coffee and donuts - how's that for friendship? Packard, Maserati, Rolls Royce and other famous marques were there, as was Kerry Fehlberg, who took these shots.

Hell, its an 'injected' hemi. Ok, the injectors may not be the real deal, but they surely look the part.

The sloped '32 grille looks right at home on this hammered '34 5-window hiboy, as does the blown Chevy small block.

Not this intrepid rodder - that's a Chevy 350, and a blower and a brace of side draft Weber carbs. Its tight, but it fits.

The resto-rod look never went away, as this multi-hued '28 roadster illustrates particularly well.

A recent local run was noteworthy in that 3 'baby' birds turned up. There were at least 17 at this show.

Here's looking at ya. The '40 phantom roadster pickup had an outlandish paint scheme that got plenty of attention.

Dan did the Donald Duck themed cartoons too. I would bet that they have garden gnomes at home.
